- Very flattering and comfortable, especially for pear shaped women – Review by Chelle , posted on 11/26/2016
Price Value QualityFirst, I'll start with my measurements to give others an idea of how these might fit. My upper waist is 29", lower waist 32", upper hips 41", lower hips 45". I'm 5'4" tall.
I ordered these in a size Large, Regular length. These pants fit me perfectly. They give enough stretch room in the hips to make them comfortable and night too tight. The yoga like waist band gives plenty of stretch room in the abdomen, so if you are are larger in the abdominal area then don't fear, these pants are super forgiving and stretchy in that area. And the band is so soft and comfortable. I'm a "pear" shaped women and these pants give me a very flattering fit. I've ordered classic elastic waist pants and drawstring waist pants in the past and hated them because if they fit well in the hips/butt area, then they are always too large in the waist area. I don't have that problem with these. However, I feel they do tend to run on the larger side overall. If I weighed maybe 10 lbs less I'd be ordering a size medium, because I prefer a more snug fit over a loose fit that requires me to constantly be tugging my pants up all evening.
As far as length goes, I'm 5'4" and these are just right for me, maybe just a little long, but I prefer my pants to be on the longer side. I'd say that if you are 5'6" and above then you definitely shoulder the Tall size. It's always easier to hem them a little rather than get stuck with pants that look like high-water pants.
Overall, I'm very impressed with these and highly recommend them for anyone who likes the yoga pant look. These have the comfort of a yoga pant, but the material actually looks very professional and dressy. And the pockets on the thigh area and big enough to place pens, syringes, pen light, alcohol wipes, etc. Not too big, but not small either.
