It’s been an exciting week here at Tafford. Our vendors have come by to show us all of the amazing new scrubs for next season. WOW! Everything looks great. Scrubs are so fashionable now.  There are tons of new silhouettes, fabrics and colors to choose from. With all of the excitement in our industry, I thought it would be fun to share with you the top new trends. The way I see it, there are three important must haves…

Stretch Fabrics

Who doesn’t love the comfort of stretch fabrics? Bend, twist, move with ease!  These styles are flattering and give you more shape. Cherokee Workwear Core Stretch has expanded their product offering and color assortment. WonderFlex will give you stretch scrubs on a budget with all of their styles priced under $20. And Dickies is offering scrub tops with moisture wicking knit panels to keep you dry and cool.  Stretch isn’t just for solids, print scrub tops are also getting in on the action. Tafford carries a wide variety of pretty stretch prints from Med Couture, Jockey and  WonderWink. Whatever your favorite brand be sure to update your scrub tops and pants with a stretch piece today.

Bright Colors

Scrubs-catalogs-photo-for-blog_6Hot colors are an important trend all year long. Med Couture will launch their Bold and Bright collection in a few weeks. Lime and Turquoise are fun and will lift your spirits. If you are required to wear a specific color and can’t change up your scrubs, then try a pair of Skechers footwear. They are lightweight, sporty and comfortable. Here at Tafford, we have also recently released our new line of Highlighter Scrubs. This new line combines a darker color material (black, gray, or navy) with a bright stitching thread (pink, yellow, or green). With three great styles and sizes up to 4x you are sure to find one you love.

A New Twist on Solids- Color BlockScrubs-catalogs-photo-for-blog_7
To some, this might be a new term. For others you know that color blocking is when you use two or more contrasting fabrics in the same garment. This look can give you many different outfit options. One top can go with two different pants, helping you to stretch your budget dollars. My favorite is the Barco 3 pocket v-neck top. I love the mint color mixed with black. WonderWink has created fun looks with prints. The Charlie top has been updated and turned out great in this look.

I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. Some of these items will be available very soon but others you will have to wait till January. Keep checking back. has new products going up weekly. Don’t forget to check out the Clearance scrub section.  Help us make room for all of these great new products and… save a bundle too!
